The HFSA Distinguished Nursing Research Award honors one or more nurses who have made significant contributions to advancing heart failure research. This award recognizes individuals whose innovative research has strengthened the evidence base for improving patient care and who have demonstrated a strong commitment to mentoring and training the next generation of nurse investigators, shaping the future of heart failure research.

- Award Presentation: HFSA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 (October 9-12, 2026 | Phoenix, AZ)
- Notification to Award Winner: June 2026
- Open to all nurses
- Must hold an active HFSA membership
Each nomination should consist of:
- A Letter of recommendation from a nominator highlighting the individual’s contributions and impact to HFSA.
