HFSA Distinguished Nursing Research Award

The HFSA Distinguished Nursing Research Award honors one or more nurses who have made significant contributions to advancing heart failure research. The Award is open to all nurses and you must be an active member of HFSA.

2025 HFSA Nursing Research Leadership Award Winner

The HFSA Distinguished Nursing Research Award honors one or more nurses who have made significant contributions to advancing heart failure research. This award recognizes individuals whose innovative research has strengthened the evidence base for improving patient care and who have demonstrated a strong commitment to mentoring and training the next generation of nurse investigators, shaping the future of heart failure research.

 

 


 

2026 Award Information

  • Deadline for Submission: May 3, 2026
  • Award Presentation: HFSA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 (October 9-12, 2026 | Phoenix, AZ)
  • Notification to Award Winner: June 2026
Eligibility
  • Open to all nurses
  • Must hold an active HFSA membership
Nominations

Each nomination should consist of:

  • A Letter of recommendation from a nominator highlighting the individual’s contributions and impact to HFSA.
  • Nominee CV or resume
