This session would focus on key sex-differences of heart failure to allow participants to better understand areas of heart failure that may be different between sexes. This would include intriguing topics such as the impact of hormonal differences on heart failure pathophysiology/response to treatment, advanced therapies in sexes and how to achieve equity, trial participation and how we should shape trials going forward, as well as attaining job equity in heart failure between sexes and special considerations. This would be part of a didactic session but we would hope to have a panel discussion of key areas for some of the topics to engage more viewpoints in areas that are not well explored like differences in careers.
