Heart Recovery: Just the Facts, Ma’am

Patients with left-ventricular dysfunction may recover their cardiac function with GDMT and, in some cases, need temporary or durable MCS to improve their cardiac function. This session will include discussions on differentiating remission from recovery. The speakers will discuss recovery with GDMT and remission using temporary MCS with weaning strategies. Data on recovery after durable LVAD support will be discussed, with an emphasis on factors associated with recovery after durable LVAD.
