How To Session: Device Based Therapies in Chronic HF
Significant progress has been made in drug therapy for heart failure across the ejection fraction spectrum; however, residual risk remains. Innovative device therapies offer a promising avenue to address this gap. With the rapid evaluation of devices through the FDA’s Breakthrough Device Program, a potential knowledge gap has emerged regarding available devices, appropriate patient selection, and strategies for clinical implementation.
This workshop will offer a case-based review of the practical aspects of integrating device therapies in 2024. Attendees will gain practical, actionable insights into identifying appropriate patients, implementing device use within a heart failure clinic, and understanding the future direction of this rapidly evolving field.
