Scientific Session Coming Soon Epidemiology and Global Heart Failure

Heart failure (HF) continues to impose a major morbidity and mortality burden on patients and healthcare systems worldwide. Despite its increasing prevalence, substantial confusion persists regarding the classification of underlying risk factors and etiologic conditions. Furthermore, significant disparities exist in HF burden, care delivery, and clinical outcomes. This session will explore efforts to unify the definition of HF etiologies, highlight sociodemographic disparities in disease burden, and examine regional, ethnic, and racial inequities in access to guideline-directed medical therapy and advanced HF therapies.
