Managing Congestion: Targeting Pressure vs Volume

Consistently, clinicians make clinical decisions based on pressure-based hemodynamic assessments, but pressure does not always equate to volume, and volume may be the treatment target. This session will discuss the physiology of cardiac congestion and compare and contrast the role of pressure versus volume guided assessment to guide heart failure management.
