Maria White FHFSA, FNP/ACNP-BC, MSN was named the 2022 HFSA Nursing Clinical Excellence Leadership Award winner.
Maria “Fe” White is a seasoned Registered Nurse who has spent the last 26 years working as a Nurse Practitioner, certified in both Acute Care and Family Practice. In the last four years, Fe had taken a leadership and administrative role as the Associate Director for the Advanced Heart Disease Programs which include Heart Transplant, Cardiomyopathy, MCS and Community Outreach for Cedars Sinai Medical Center. More recently the Lung Transplant Program was added to her oversight. She continues to be clinically active, seeing patients in the clinic. She has been an active member of HFSA and maintains her designation as FHFSA and AACC. She has been a speaker at many local and national conferences spreading the message of advancing heart failure care and enhancing access to care for patients living with advanced heart disease. She currently serves as an adjunct faculty and Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Nursing – Acute Care Nurse Practitioner tract.
