The editors are looking for papers in the following (but not limited to) topic areas:
- Innovative Diagnostics: We invite original research and reviews on use of novel diagnostic tools, including the role of biomarkers, genetics, nuclear imaging and pathology, in diagnosis and assessment of treatment response for cardiac amyloidosis, cardiac sarcoidosis, and related infiltrative and inflammatory cardiomyopathies.
- Treatment Strategies: Submissions focused on innovative therapeutic strategies including stabilizers and silencers in amyloidosis, immunomodulatory and immunosuppressant therapies in inflammatory cardiomyopathies, heart failure therapies and transplantation, emphasizing strategies to optimize multidisciplinary patient care pathways are invited.
- Patient-Centered and Clinical Outcomes: Studies focusing on phenotyping, risk prediction, and clinical and patient-reported outcomes to improve diagnostic and prognostic acumen, personalize treatment strategies, and improve the lives of patients living with infiltrative and inflammatory cardiomyopathies are sought.
- Multidisciplinary Approaches: Submissions that integrate cardiology specialties, immunology, genetics, imaging, pathology, and multidisciplinary clinical and research teams to advance understanding and management of these complex disorders are highly encouraged.
In line with our core values at JCF, we encourage multi-disciplinary collaborations (e.g., pharmacists, nurses, physicians) and emphasize inclusion of the patient voice/perspective.
We also consider inclusion of diverse and representative co-authors a priority. Along these lines, JCF aims to feature, promote and highlight women, underrepresented minorities, and early career individuals.
