HFSA is seeking volunteers to support our mission of improving the lives of those affected by heart failure through education, collaboration, and innovation.
Volunteering at HFSA allows you to play a larger role in the heart failure community. A hallmark of our work as healthcare providers is the commitment we make to improve the lives of our patients and their families and volunteering for HFSA speaks loudly to this commitment. Membership in our society is a journey of learning and personal development. Whether it is through advocating for patients, improving your heart failure practice or advancing the next generation of heart failure research.
Diversity is a top priority for HFSA and should be evident in the makeup of our Board, officers, and committees. To ensure our society mirrors the diversity of our membership, we always consider this perspective when making decisions about leadership positions at HFSA.
Finally, volunteerism inspires and empowers the next generation of healthcare professionals, instilling in them the values of compassion, integrity and social responsibility. As volunteers ourselves, we engage in mentorship, education, and advocacy initiatives; we sow the seeds of innovation and excellence; and we nurture the next generation of heart failure leaders.
The volunteer cycle for 2025 is now open, with a wide range of opportunities available to all HFSA members. There are positions available on nearly all HFSA committees, as well as the Board of Directors. If you're interested in volunteering for one of HFSA’s committees, you can learn more here.
To all of our current committee and Board members, thank you for all that you do for HFSA. And if you aren’t, we look forward to meeting you as a new volunteer!
