The HFSA Rising Star Award recognizes one or more early-career professionals (anyone who is less than 7 years out from training) who has demonstrated exceptional promise in the field of heart failure. This award celebrates emerging leaders whose dedication, innovation, and contributions signal a bright future and a lasting impact on patients, research, and the heart failure community.

- Notification to Award Winner: June 2026
Eligibility
- Open to all disciplines
- Must be less than 7 years out from training
- Must hold an active HFSA membership
Evaluation of nominees and selection of the recipient will be chosen by a majority vote of the Awards Committee and submitted to the HFSA Board of Directors for approval.
Nominations
Each nomination should consist of:
- A Letter of recommendation from a nominator highlighting the individual’s contributions and impact to HFSA.
- Nominee CV or resume
