HFSA and ACC jointly submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recommending Medicare coverage for implantable pulmonary artery pressure sensors for heart failure management. The comment letter is in response to a recently opened National Coverage Determination (NCD) analysis.  CMS is expected to publish a proposed NCD by October 30 which will be open for public comment before CMS issues a final national policy decision.
