The HFSA Mentoring Webinar Series, created and managed by the Early Career Committee for early career professionals across disciplines (MD/DO, RN, NP, PharmD, etc), provides practical pearls and guidance on navigating the path from training to clinical practice, as well as pursuing career transitions into roles that include academia, clinical administration and/or transitioning between the inpatient and outpatient patient care setting.

In this webinar, panelists will discuss how genetic testing is advancing precision medicine in cardiomyopathy care, highlighting clinical applications, emerging gene therapies, and opportunities in cardiovascular genetics.

As cardiomyopathy care moves toward precision medicine, genetic testing is becoming a critical tool for cardiologists and heart failure specialists. This webinar will explore the evolving role of genetic testing in cardiomyopathy management, from everyday clinical decision-making to emerging precision and gene therapies. The session will also address implementation challenges and opportunities for trainees interested in cardiovascular genetics.
