Erika Schoenborn, PharmD is currently a Cardiology Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner at Eastern Carolina University (ECU) Health Medical Center. She obtained a bachelor of science in food science and human nutrition, and a doctor of pharmacy at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. She then completed a PGY1 hospital practice residency at the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Affairs Medical Center, followed by an academic heart failure fellowship at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy.  Erika has an active clinical practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings with the Advanced Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension Team at ECU Health Medical Center. She maintains board certification in cardiology. Erika is also involved with clinical research at ECU Health, with research interests in pharmacotherapy for heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac amyloidosis, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
