At a standing-room-only session attended by over 400 participants, titled, “When Pressure ≠ Volume: Understanding Complex Hemodynamic Situations and Pitfalls,” Dr. Marat Fudim of Duke University Health emphasized that pressure-based assessments frequently misrepresent true volume status.
