Late Breaking Clinical Research
Late Breaking Clinical Research showcases novel results of trials and research. This is where you’ll hear news about key research for the first time. Late breaking abstracts will be presented in several ways, including on the plenary stage, in rapid fire sessions and in Oral Abstract sessions.
ePoster Hub
HFSA utilizes ePosters, which are digital presentations of a poster. Attendees will be able to view ePosters in the ePoster Hub in the Exhibit Hall during the Annual Scientific Meeting, regardless of day and time of presentations. Presenters will also receive a designated time to share their science with attendees at their monitor during Poster Presentations.
TWO Oral Abstract Stages
NEW THIS YEAR: Double the research opportunities with two Oral Abstract Stages! Visit the Oral Abstract Stages inside the Exhibit Hall during Oral Abstract Presentation Sessions to hear from researchers in fast-paced oral presentations, with audience Q&A guided by moderators. During each Oral Abstract session, a team of moderators will lead the audience through 5-6 selected presentations. Each oral abstract presentation slot will last ten minutes. Each presenter will have approximately 7 minutes to present highlights of his or her work, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A from the moderators and attendees.
HFSA Research Hub
Research Hub brings together leading experts from the heart failure (HF) research community to share their insights on recent advancements and discuss ongoing challenges. Located in the exhibit hall, the Research Hub will feature discussions on Precision Diagnosis in Heart Failure, Navigating Clinical Research in Non-Academic Institutions, and more!

INVESTIGATOR AWARDS
HFSA offers two investigator award competitions at its annual meeting that feature abstracts representative of research excellence in young trainees and investigators. JNC finalists will present their work orally in scientific sessions during the meeting, and a winner and runner up winner are announced live during a session on the final day. The two nursing winners will present their work during a special session at the Annual Meeting.
2nd Annual Case Competition
The second annual Case Competition session will take place on Friday, September 26 and will feature oral presentations of unique and challenging cases.
