In Conjunction With (ICW) Meetings
HFSA offers the opportunity to gather heart failure experts during ASM through In Conjunction With (ICW) Meetings. These include face-to-face client meetings, personnel meetings, or hospitality functions, and they are outside the official ASM program and must be submitted for HFSA approval. The majority of ICWs will be located at contracted hotels. If you're interested in hosting a meeting at ASM, click the link below for information on administrative fees, the application process, and more.
HFSA Devices in Heart Failure Meeting
The HFSA Devices in Heart Failure Meeting: From Mechanisms to Implementation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, immediately prior to the HFSA Annual Scientific Meeting in Minneapolis, MN. Plan to attend this HFSA offering on the role of devices in heart failure. The full day meeting will include didactic sessions, access to three unique hands-on sessions, an exhibit hall of device vendors, and time to network. Register early! This popular meeting sold out in 2024.
Science and Research
ASM is THE place for the latest updates on critical research and trials in the heart failure field. We'll feature science and research in multiple ways - ePoster and Oral Abstract Sessions, Late Breaking Clinical Research plenary and rapid-fire sessions, the Research Hub and JCF activities - with scientific content ranging from all professional disciplines.
Scientific Sessions
This year's schedule is filled with sessions and workshops expertly planned by multidisciplinary professionals, clinicians, and researchers. Click the link below to view our Schedule at a Glance!
Network & Connect
From the Opening Reception to Speed Mentoring, there are plenty of opportunities for you to network and connect with your fellow heart failure colleagues no matter where you are in your career.
Satellite Symposia
Satellite symposia provide valuable opportunities to explore new and emerging clinical options that complement the official scientific program. Though not part of the scientific sessions planned by the HFSA Program Committee, these industry-supported programs are designed to the same standards of evidence, scientific rigor, and fair balance. These symposia, presented in collaboration with Medical Education Providers and the Heart Failure Society of America, has had its topic, learning objectives, and faculty reviewed and approved by the ASM Satellite Review Committee, ensuring high-quality and relevant education for attendees.
Visit the Expo Hall
Are you a company interested in reaching the heart failure care team? Reserve your booth and sponsorships NOW! This is the one show where you can maximize your visibility by reaching all members of the HEART FAILURE TEAM, including cardiologists, CV surgeons, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, researchers, and health care administrators.
Industry Innovation Events (No CEU)
Industry Innovation Events (IIE) offer new and innovative ways for industry to showcase their products or provide education. These non-CEU activities are independently organized by sponsors and held before or after official ASM programming. IIEs may include educational symposia to provide clinical updates and educate attendees on current therapies, disease states, products, and pipeline activities; product or device demonstrations; poster tours; panel discussions with KOLs; or wellness activities.
Industry Expert Theaters (No CEU)
Industry Expert Theaters are no CEU educational activities held in dedicated space in the Exhibit Hall. They provide an opportunity for product-specific education. Only exhibitors are eligible to conduct an Industry Expert Theater, which cannot offer continuing education credit.
